Sony Rdr GXD360 DVD Recorder Review December 15, 2006 at 3:50:38pm
As an upgrade to its average predecessor we are expecting bigger and better things from Sony’s RDR-GXD360 DVD Recorder, but once we’d seen that they’ve forgotten to add a HDMI and analogue tuner we were nowhere near as excited about checking it out. One thing we were impressed by is that it costs £100 less than its predecessor, the GXD310.

john July 9, 2009 i have a sony rdrgxd360 dvd recorder and it wont work with remote control i have purchased another unit and that works with both remotes can you tell me what part i must get to repair my unit and where to get it
de SpinozaFebruary 25, 2010 i have two problems with this otherwise excellent machine, one of them of increasing severity to the point where i am actively considering junking it and buying another (!) new dvd player/recorder. i am not very technically minded, so if anyone is aho is reading this and could suggest what to do i shall bless them even unto the seventh generation.
problem 1: the whole unit has to be disconnected at the plug after using the timer record facility, otherwise the machine will not accept any new timer recording settings, just displaying unresolved. this did not happen when i first bought it. just switching it off and on with the remote does not do the trick - only complete disconnection works.
problem 2: increasingly timer recordings do not work - nothing is recorded, though there is space on the disc and the timer setting has been accepted.( i get a lot of sudden freezing on commercial channels - particularly channel 5 - which shut down the the tv and switch off the dvd automatically without my doing anything, and i wonder if there is a connection here?)
