The ps3 will kick microsoft xbox 360 ass due to the face that it has a blu-ray player and is only £495, a bargain if you ask me.

My time with the PS3 was limited, and I did not get to use all of it's features. However, I think the answer to your question is possibly yes, the PS3 will be able to fix games that're broken via updates. It is, afterall, touting itself as an online enabled machine. We'll have to see if that was just a lie from Sony, or the real deal though.

Goodbye Microsoft? xbox fanboy? more the 2 Daves are Sony Fanboys.
Software developers are stuck in the middle now so we all lose out. They are not going to spend money developing games for two different platforms so will develop for one and port across. it's been done for years and is not going to change. There is no difference in graphic ability. Compare COD4. See any difference? cus I don't. So this so called games advantage you go on about with the PS3 has already been wiped out. And the coding for the chip is a pain, costing developers money. For example, GTA4 has been delayed because of problems developing it for the damned cell chip on the PS3 That has delayed the Xbox360 release as well, even though it is ready, because Rockstar are under contract to release both at the same time. And if they didn't Sony bully boys would kneecap them.
Truth is most people can't be arsed with true High Def yet as they haven't got the money to shell out for a true1080p TV (talking near a grand upwards). So what's the point of going on about blu-ray with it's £25 plus movies? The only thing that the PS3 has that the 360 doesn't is internet browsing. Hello viruses! I don't think it won't happen cus there are already some around for the PSP.
