Is the Smeg A2 Opera duel fuel any good? I wondered whether to buy one? I have seen mixed reviews. If not then what should I buy?

The A2 is a great looking cooker. Over the past 4 years its a has been improved several times. The latest version the smeg A2-5 has a circular digital clock make sure the one you (possibly) buy has this else your buying an old model cooker. The gas hob is excellent but as with all stainless steel hobs in nearly impossible to keep in pristine conditions. The ovens are ok although the smaller oven is very small and in most cases will hardly ever be used. If you want a good looking all-rounder the Smeg A2 is in a class of it's own. Please take a word of warning don't buy there fridges or dishwashers without doing any research as we have had many disgruntled customer post many less than favorable reviews. Hope this helps. Callum

About the clock- I thought the new ones were analogue and circular, not digital?

Thanks for your reply. I only want the second oven for baked potatoes or a few fish fingers for the kids, save putting on the big one- would it be big enough for that?

The clock thing a bit complicated. Its actually called ""Analogue Digital Clock"" to me this sounds like a contradiction but hey this is Smeg we are dealing with. The second oven is fine for fish fingers a bake potateos and such the like.
