| Ask A Question About - Servis M6755 | pauline 4th February Bought this washing machine in September 07, started leaking on 2nd January. Engineer came out 1 week later, and I was told there was a hole in the outer drum which had been caused by myself, either a coin or bra wire etc. No item found. Was told it was not covered under the manufacturers warranty. The engineer sealed the hole for me and I could use it 24 hours later. When I went to use it again, it didn't leak but when it went to spin it made a noise like loads of screws going round. When the wash finished, I found that all my clothes had been ripped as one of the paddles in the drum had come off. Rang servis again and was told they could not do anything till they got the engineers report back from the previous day. Waited another week and a half, then the engineer came out again. He had to order a part which would take 7-10 days. Rang servis last week as I had not heard anything, they told me engineer would ring me in the next 2 days to arrange appointment. I then arranged for the engineer to come out to my fridge freezer which i bought at the same time (also servis). He came out the following day and was told he did not ring to make appointments. So I had to ring them again, and apparently they are coming today. The customer service has been diabolical, and have since found out that the outer drum is made from plastic and anything can break it such as a coin etc. Any other washing machine I have had the coins usually end up in the filter. And apparently you have to wash your bra's in a bag which i have now bought. Almost five weeks without a washing machine, driving me mad. I have now taken insurance out with domestic and general and this also covers accidental damage. reply |
