my samsung side by side american style fridge freezer has developed the following problems.
No water coming through the dispenser although water is on and ice maker is working fine.
Fridge section is to warm even though the temp is set to 1.
can you please advise of the possible causes.
my fridge freezer is 26months old.

I have the opposite problem - water is fine, but no ice in the ice maker. There isn't any water coming through, but the dispenser is fine (I'm making cubes the old fashioned way and putting them in the holder). I have fitted a new filter but still no ice!

I have had the same problem (no water). The problem is that the water in the cooling system inside has frozen. If you do not do anthing you will soon have a 'knocking' sound, which will be the fan hitting the build up of ice. You can either defrost the fridge by taking the (inside) back panel off, and remove the build up of ice aound the fan. (a hair dryer helps with this), or just turn of the machine and leave the doors open. You will have to leave it for at least 2 (yes two) days for all the ice to melt. good luck

I had the same problem. it's a design fault
& samsung WILL replace a certain part.

where in the hell is the water filter on this fridge? Im a baffled

the water filter is connected to the white hose on the back its a large tube that takes the water into the fridge and it is nt connected internally to the fridge as they need replacing often

I have purchased a RS21DCNS fridge freezer but it was not connected to the water supply by the last owner, so is it possible for me to purchase a kit which will allow me to have it connected to the mains water supply,if so where, and the cost if possible

I have had my fride/freezer just over 3 years. The fridge has stopped cooling, the temperature is at 15 degrees, if i change it it just goes back to 15 but when i put the power cool, the fridge cools, so it has to be somthing silly
What can i do to fix this problem ??
