I have recently purchased the LE40M87BDX, and discovered that where I have moved to I cannot get SKY HD as we only have one port on the communal dish. Currently I am only viewing the build in freeview but the picture as pretty hazy at the best of times, does anyone know how I can improve the picture quality...?

Im no expert but first thing is check obvious stuff like conections etc but probably something to do with aerial-you can run freeview through standard aerial but much better through high gain aerial.

I have recently purchased the le40m87 lcd tv and have noticed that when you set your tv to 'high' energy saving mode when watching programmes at night, thus reducing bright glares, it tends to loose it's setting and revert back to 'normal' mode mid programme fro no apparent reason.
Can anybody shed any light on this ??

Your TV might be in ""shop mode"" which resets to default settings every 20 mins or so, Google for info on how to turn off ""shop mode""

Laxmi - did you find a resolution to your problem? I'm getting the same 'reseting to defaults' issue when switching from dynamic mode to standard/movie mode on my Samsung 32inch LCD.
