Hi Folks,

Thought I might as well add my two pennies worth!!!

Bought a Philips LS1400 from PC World in Feb 2006. When the damn thing is working it's a bloody good machine but so far since I've bought it I've had the DVD drive replaced, the Motherboard replaced (twice)!!!, 4 New Graphics cards and a New Sound card. The Tech people always send out replacement parts fairly promptly but what good is that if it keeps breaking down!!!!

I have now officially complained to PC World and asked for a refund. I'm currently waiting to find out what they say!!!

HI GOT SAME COMPUTER AND ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MOTHERBOARD. I CANT FIND A REPLACMENT ANYWHERE.CAN I ASK WHERE YOU GOT YOURS AND HOW MUCH WAS IT . THANKS ALOT....

My DVD drive no longer works, I tryed to replace it with a standard sized DVD drive but found that it was too big to fit in the LS 1400 computer. Could someone please tell me where I can get a DVD drive that fits and how much it will cost.
