I had a problem with the soap dispenser drawer from new and this has been replaced twice. Now out of guarantee and under a service contract, I have had the engineer visit more than 10 times but it still spews out water from the drawer. Hotpoint abosolutely no use at all and literally washed their hands of any responsibility for selling a u/s product. My floor is ruined. Do not buy unless you want to get as frustrated as me. replybarnsleymick 14th July i am an ex engineer and sorted out many a problem left by hotpoint ""appointed"" engineers, simple remedy, turn down the water pressure at the tap at the back on the wall, this used to be a common fault on the older machines, especially hotpoints, some people do have more water pressure than others, this does add a couple of minutes to the time but cures the fault, at no cost, that is if you have eliminated any blockages.. try it replyKerry 29th September DO NOT BUY!!! This is the worse washing machine I have ever owned, I have has the machine for 14 months and it worked fine, suddenly now it is out of warranty the programmes stick the screen flashes and the drum makes a major banging noise when turning, hardley silent as it should be. I am not the only person this has happened to. Two of my frineds have had the same problem one like me didn't purchase the extended warranty the other did and has has the engineer out 7 times changing the LCD display. Finally they gave in and gave her a new one. Doubt thast will last long either. I wish I had stayed with my old machine that I never had 1 problem wih in 9 years.
