Does the Hitachi AX-M71 have auxiliary input?

It has two auxilliary inputs - both phono-type plug sockets. Haven't tried them yet - still looking for suitable tape and record decks.

Can anyone advise suitable auxilliary systems for this system? Tape and record decks - preferably Hitachi equipment.

Does anyone know the recommended input for the Hitachi AX-M71 aux socket if connected to a turntable?
I.e. what output in mV from the turntable cartridge?
