Sony Slash PSP Price to Keep up with Nintendo's DS Lite

When Sony published financial results showing a £220 million loss for its PSP gaming device, experts speculated that a price drop would be on its way. And right they were, Sony will be slashing the price of the PSP by 15 percent, introducing a new retail price of around £85, an Australian IT company reports.

Sony kills ownership of games

They are talking about bringing out a license scheme where gamers will not own the PS3 titles they have bought, but instead they will lease them from Sony.  This would mean that the software would remain the property of Sony, and customers could not sell them on.
