iPhone Demand Crashes o2 Website.
If anyone had any doubts about whether the new 3G iPhone was going to be a big hit, they need only to log on to the O2 pre-order website. O2 encouraged existing iPhone users to pre-order there new iPhone with a text message sent out at 8.02am this morning. O2 clearly hadn't anticipated that so many of existing iPhone users wanted to get their free upgrade, here at Unbeatable.co.uk we have tried several times to complete the upgrade process but every time the site crashes.

When we asked O2 what the problem was were given this statement "Due to extremely high levels of demand, the O2 online shop is temporarily unavailable. We are working to restore the service as quickly as possible. Customers who are unable to place an order online can still go into store from 8.02am on 11 July, although we urge people to get down there early as demand is expected to be very high." They also assured us that they were doing everything they could to get the upgrade area of their site working as quickly as possible. | | Posted 7th July 1:06:60pm By Callum Mckeefery |
