Company info: The first Japanese televisions and calculators were made by Sharp and since then their product range has grown to include state of the art LCD TV’s. There is a constant battle for the top LCD and Plasma Television manufacturers to be at the top selling spot and dominant Sharp has held the title many times, but has been knocked from the top by competitors such as Sony, Samsung and LG recently. Sharp and Toshiba have also recently joined forces to work together on the development of their LCD TV product lines. Sharp are concentrating on the all important environmentally friendly factor of its LCD Televisions at present and aim to drive down power consumption, as well as to improve on the thickness and weight and to increase their resolution, quality and life span.

	Sharp LC32GD8E Lcd Tv Review - January 26, 2009 just out of warranty the TV picture goes black after anything from 3 seconds to 3 hours after turning on (sound stays on) to get picture back turn off then on again 30 seconds later(may take several attempts) the picture will now stay on for 3 seconds to 3 hours, you can pay sharp £160.00 for a repair which comes with a 3 month warranty.
