Ovens (Gas and Electric)
Built-in ovens come in either gas or electric. The most common is electric and there is a much wider choice of models ranging from a basic convection or a multifunctional oven with numerous settings including fan assisted, grill, self cleaning, hypa speed cooking, defrost, microwave etc.
Most built-in ovens are 60cm wide so they fit into a standard kitchen cavity. There are also some 90cm built-in ovens on the market.
You can fit these ovens in two ways - under counter so your cooker hob sits above in the kitchen counter or built-in at eye level. If you are buying a double built-in oven there are different sizes so you must make sure you buy the right kind. The under-counter double ovens are slightly smaller to fit into standard kitchen units. Built-in under-counter ovens">Double ovens at eye level are a lot bigger in capacity than under-counter ovensunder-counter ovens.
