This is a cracking home cinema amp from the masters at yamaha. It has just about everything you could expect for the money and is fairly easy to set up and use. Possessing more than enough power for all but the largest rooms the electronic wizardry will fool you into thinking its much more expensive than it is. Although straight music reproduction falls short of a dedicated hi fi amp it is still good enough, but the surround sound is a revelation at this price. With enough inputs to satisfy the most ardent techy this deserves serious consideration. Now available for under £300 it is amazing value for money only rivalled by the latest Sony offering.
