i have had this recorder for over a year, it houses all my MP3''s all my divx movies and Avi''s i''ve been using it to record the ashes and use the timeslip in the mornings (why i don''t know) and i''ve still got about 160Gb of space left if you really want to edit simply record the file to a dvd and use a PC based editor. (or use the pause button) i also believe new firmware is coming soon, don''t know what for but hopefully something good. i couldn''t life without this recorder now (ok i could, but i like it alot)

This DVD recorder whilst cheap and OK for the price has no editing of programs recorded onto the hard drive so you cannot strip out adverts. On a a DVD you can only hide adverts so space disappears rapidly, A very disappointing purchase
