Whirlpool AWO10561 Washing Machine

I bought a Whirlpool AWO 10561 machine about 6 months ago I bought it because it has simultaneous hot and cold fill. This means a total wash time of just over an hour (30minutes on quick wash cycle) whereas many cold fill only machines take between 2 and 3 hours for a wash. Life is just too short to wait that long! They say that cold fill machines are more energy efficient but I fail to see how because if you already have hot water in your hot water tank then how can it be more efficient to heat cold water up in a machine?! Anyway Whirlpool machine is excellent, quiet, uncomplicated and easy to use. It even has a digital timer that counts down the time so you always know how much longer the wash will take. After having been a Hotpoint customer for many years but having had problems with plastic paddles and bearings I was disappointed and decided not to have another. I am very glad I bought this model instead and would thoroughly recommend it ro anyone.
