Wharfedale Crystal 40 Main Stereo Speaker

Good Bass , Good Midrange and Extremely clear sound

having recently purchased a pair of these speakers , i am very pleased with the sound quality for the price paid.the bass is punchy rather than deep with a fast response.the mid-range seems open if a trifle thin.the high frequencys are sharp and clear without being strident.however i am not exactly running a high quality amp which may be colouring the sound quite a lot.(old hitachi ha-3).none the less these speakers have vastly improved the sound of an older system and for the price in my opinion represent excellent value for money and would doubtless sound even better with a better amp and source.
