Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Pro Professional Headphones

These are excellent. The best I have tried so far and I have tried many. Better than Sony, better than Shure and better than Senheiser. How better? Well if you like the sound of an Analog record player like a Linn Sondeck LP12, you will understand imeadiately what I mean. They are way more musical and have great tempo as well as a warm (read not harsh, tinny or tizzy) tonal balance. They have a very rthymic sound, which to me is the essence of how music and not hifi sounds. For example, when did you last go to a gig or a concert and came away saying something stupid like, Oh, wern''''t those highs sweet or wasn''''t that mid range balanced. This is where so many people ruin thier music playback system. No, you probably came away saying something emotional such as: wow, that guy could really sing, I was so moved by the way he felt what he was singing, or man that guy could really move up and down the fretboard he really made that guitar cry, or man that was the best song I''''ve ever heard, so full of depth and feeling I was in tears, or, I could have boogied on down all evening, I realy enjoyed getting down to that song. If you know what I mean by these examples, then these earphones are for you, plus they have great tonal qualities for the Hifi purist geeks and the sound isolation qualities beat all others hands down. And heh, if pro musicians use them on stage andin the studios, they should know. AA++ Enjoy. Steve
