Toshiba Portege M300

I am a student and my school made us buy these laptops to use for school. They seemed ok at first, but before anyone had even started putting school work onto them, hardly touching the machine, it seemed very slow. I have to wait about 10 minutes from pressing the on button before i can use this laptop without it taking ages to open something etc. Also, it claims that it is strong and hard-wearning, but it is quite the opposite: the screen is very felxible, and many cracks in my laptop and other students have appeared literally from nowhere. So many things have gone wrong with mine and other students, it was a really bad choice the school made and terrible for money. I am currently waiting for a part which will replace the area where many cracks have appeared (the silver top about the disk drive) . I would strongly recommend all buyers not to buy this laptop, and to even look for a different make altogether.

excellent laptop... massive memory.. good processor.. dual dvd and cd-r-rw drive.. lightweight and easy too use.. top notch
