The lid on my VGN-BX297XP, has broken 3 times, it is easy to fix, but the screws are hard to come by. It is a nice laptop, I have recently update to windows Vista professional, runs fine, be sure you back up the Vaio drivers before installing windows. It has a great wireless, camera & finger sensor. I have had no trouble with games, but I don''t really use it as a gameing laptop.
