Essentially it works ok, but....

Not too bad but nothing special. Essentially it works ok. But... Notable problems are a fairly noisy hard drive which is constantly spinning (even on standby). Possibly not a problem if you are keeping it in an enclosed cabinet. The EPG is a bit of a let down. It only displays one channel at one time rather than a multi-channel display. This is a shame as Sony have done a good job in the past of EPG's on some of their TV's. Also no now & next view. Time lag between pressing a button on the remote and the on-screen display acknowledging the button press is unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating. In all, dissapointing as I have a number of other Sony products and having a common remote would have been nice. Try another brand.
Pros:
none
Cons:
Noisy Hard Disk Poor EPG - 1 channel at a time only Time lag from button press on remote
