The software is absolutely horrific - Connect player is paranoia gone made as Sony try and protect against you haveing an "illegal (ie no funds to SOny) copy of any track. Amongst its more endearing qualities is the random deleting of say 7500 legally uploded tacks. The answer "Sonic player" blatantly does not support several of the features that you were urged to buy the player for; but worse than that it refuses to download and function properly when you have had Connect player installed.
