Review
I recently bought one of these units second-hand from eBay UK. It's important to note that although not new, this unit is in 'mint' condition. Very pleasing on the eye, it stands just 12cms from top to bottom. This is partly offset by being a whopping 32cms in depth (main unit)
This model plays all major formats: CD (including CD-R & CD-RW) MD Minidisc, Cassette Tape & it also has the obligatory AM/FM RDS Tuner.
All sources are handled well from the 30watt RMS Amplifier section. However, sound is very subjective & this sound will not be to everyone's taste. Treble is pronounced, making recordings seem clear but overly 'bright'.
Pros:
Attractive looks.
Plays everything you could wish for (well almost, no mp3 playback)
Plays audio tracks on CD-RW discs!
Cons:
Bright Treble from all sources
Lack of Bass depth (drivers are only 9.5cms)
No mp3 playback.
