First impressions on getting this TV out of the box were nice styling but nothing special. Connecting up was a cinch thanks to the huge number of inputs (3x HDMI, 2x Scart, Component, composite, S-Video, optical out. Standard definition picture quality is good after adjustment while high definition is straight from the top drawer. Blu-ray and HD-DVD shine on this screen while picture and sound adjustment is simple and effective. Brightness levels are excellent and contrast and colour are superb. The piano black frame is easily marked with finger prints but looks classy nontheless. Can''t fault this TV for under a grand and when I registered with Sony for the warranty got 12 months accidental damage cover free of charge! If you are looking for a good Full HD Tv look no further than this beauty.
