User Reviews of the Smeg SUK62MFX Gas Range Cooker
Unreliability seems to be the norm

Main cooker element went after abut 13 months. Replaced and now timer is acting up. Buy a long warranty would be my recommendation!

A wine glass accidentally slipped out of my hand and knocked the front of the hob on my almost brand new Smeg cooker. Needless to say the wine glass is still intact, however, there is now a huge dent in the front of my cooker. Am really not happy that the stainless steel used is so thin that such a knock would affect it in this way, surely this area of the cooker is the most prone to knocks and therefore it would be re-inforced. Customer services are not prepared to help in any way and the only option I have is to pay half of the price I originally paid for the cooker for a replacement hob. So much for a premium brand and premium service.
