Siemens KG30U694 Fridge Freezer Stainless Steel

I bought the Siemens KG30U694 a year ago, because it was the only stainless steel fridge freezer that I could find that would fit in my kitchen and was of good make. I loved the look and feel of quality. I spoiled myself. It took me months to decide to buy it though because it is expensive.. A few months ago when I put food in there the temperature of both fridge and freezer started rising fairly quickly. It turned out the compressor seized. Quite a fundamental component for such an expensive fridge. This has finally been replaced, but last time I went shopping (and even used the super freeze and cool options) the temperatures still seemed unstable and mostly increasing. The time before that I got the alarm again with the flashing display, I suspect there may be something faulty with the electronics inside..? The technician who was sent out said they don''t see many of these. Which means they don''t tend to break down. Bad luck on this one then I guess.... I will probably try and get a replacement then...although that will be quite a mission of peruasion I fear...I used to have one of those unknown brand ones that just go on forever. it was free as well... I was until November the happiest girl enjoying the beauty of it all. in my brandnew kitchen.now I worry if the thing will go baserk when I am away.... Oh I eat a lot as well, so it is a real sensitive point...food and stuff...
