Servis M9813 Washer Dryer

Purchased 25/1/2007. Initially worked well then failed on drying programme with burning smell. After fourth visit by engineer when circuit board burned out, direct replacement by Servis with same model on 6/9/2007. Same story but this time failed on drying programme much quicker on 4/1/2008. I expect such machines to last longer than three and a half months, the last one went for eight years and was an Indesit. Waiting for an engineer to call to inspect the Servis but meantime have written to shop where purchased and also Credit Card company to advise them of their obligations under the Consumer Credit Act where goods are not free of defect and not fit for purpose
