Samsung J1253 Washing Machine

WELL!! What an absolute load of rubbish..had the machine about 14 months and so far i''m on first name terms with the engineer coz he see''s me that often...door seals are absolutely ridiculous, my machine has the same problems as the others, i get excited when it looks like its going to spin, i urge it on even with kind words and encouragement but sadly this dosen''t work...at about 9 mins it resets to 10, then it may go to 8 mins then resets to 11, i can put it on a 11 min spin cycle and it gets to 8 mins then resets itself onto a 15 mins cycle which i didn''t ask it to do in the first place and just fills with water again, i put the machine on a normal quick wash cycle at 6.00pm, its now 11.00pm and its still not managed to spin my advice DON''T BUY THIS as for comet the reason they can only come out in 4 days is because they have so many of these damn machines going wrong they are always busy......but if you are very persistent with them you can uausly get the time down sometimes to 2 days...just stand ur ground!!

looks nice , but what a load of rubbish , keeps breaking down, with the same faults as all your other reviews, my advice DONT BUY AND COMET DONT CARE ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, lasted 14 months our last machine bendix lasted 12 years !!!!

Purchased from Comet in Mid January 2007.broke down in February,waited four days for engineer,who replaced the water pump. Then broke down mid April,with a random countdown showing and getting stuck on the spin cycle,jumping from 10-9 mins constantly,waited 4 days for engineer,had a new programmer installed.Now june and has started with the same problem as before,again waited four days for the engineer to be told there is nothing wrong with it,its just unbalanced.He tried to balance it by pressing his magic buttons!!! Have been told that i cannot have a replacement,I have to call the comet centre to speak to the manager who is always in a meeting!! Tried to hold the engineer ransom to watch the 74 minute cycle to see if he had fixed his problem but he never had that amount of time so i suggested we just watch the spin cycle and again it got stuck!! The engineer called his manager disturbing his "meeting",and i am now awaiting a call from the manager himself Carl who promised to call the other day and never did,to see if he would authorise an exchange,still waiting,my advice be careful about buying from Comet.

i thought my washing paradise had begun but sadly no. althought this machine looks the business, with all its posh sounds, and lights it is rubbish. ive had it 2 weeks and its depressed me it has a countdown time to go which only serves to reassure it dosent function properly. i agree with other reciews i have read that it has great problems spinning. i have found this with both full 7kg load(weighed might i add) and more understandably a half load( i could have accepted this) my recommendation is not to buy it. im stuck without a machine now till comets engineer can visit in4 days but my confidence in it is shattered anyway. it has been as annoying as my old machine, and beleive me that was bad by the end.i beleive a new machine should be filled turned on, and simply left to wash. not make one suicidle! good luck.

Overall a good machine, good value for money, easy to use with good features. I like the fact it has digital programmer rather than a clockwork dial. (It is 2007 now !). Has a lot of spin vibration and noise, just aswell it is in the garage. Instructions say it should be level within one degree ! Well it may be at some times but the vibration means it is never in exactly one place for long.
