I purchased it for the ability to have full control over every setting (as all good SLRs do) If you don''''''''''''''''t want to do that, or simply want a break from it, you can just switch to one of the varied auto setups. I am gonna keep this short, as the reveiw above cannot be beaten. It is basically an amazing bit of kit and well worth every penny! I have used various 35mm SLRs and an Olympus 2020 for years, and I can say this has replaced everything (apart from my Chinon mount lenses, which happen to fit this!)
