Russell Hobbs Ellora 13552 Electric Kettle

I bought this kettle for the less plastic part inside the kettle I''ve ever seen and its simple design. It is easy to use but dangerous. I filled up half kettle water when the first time I used. While the kettle was boiling, water drops was dripping from the bottom of the handle down on the on/off lever. I tried to take away the kettle from the base, but the plastic handle was quite hot to hold. Even turning off the lever, some water was still dripping out. It really scared me. After pouring out the water, I found rust on the bottom surface. Surely, I''ll return it.
