I bought this DVD player over several other brands thinking Philips wouldnt let me down. After 6 months the machine has totally packed up and wont play any discs whatsoever. This is pretty poor considering I have only used it about 125 times!

Having read around about this product, I get the feeling that I'm on my own in not being terribly impressed with it. But, I have found that the sound quality is not great; it is not terribly intuitive to operate; and in this day and age, designing products that you cannot actually turn off (rather than just switching to stand-by) strikes me as somewhat reckless! There also seems to be some kind of static discharge from it that is actually painful if it touches skin, but hey, perhaps I've got a faulty one!

this amazing sexy slim silver little number is the best and easiest dvp on the market.
picture reproduction is brilliant.
the instruction manual is a piece of cake,honestly the dogs b-----ks.
