Slow to operate including ejecting disc and reading disc at the start of the operation. It also offered poor results when trying to record anything over two hours long. Mine had a very minor intermittent fault from new. It would cut out or stop playing. The fault was too difficult to pin down initially so was not sorted during the guarantee and predictably after very little use shortly after the guarantee had expired so did the DVD. It then proved too difficult to repair. The repair man said the fault I had experienced was common with this recorder.
