Operating Instructions Book Far from easy to locate the a particular function and certainly no Telephone help line facility for a quick straight forward problem answer. Results from use of the product so far have been excellent. The problem is the lay out of the Booklet data.

I bought one of these in April 07 and have had nothing but trouble with it. The DVD''s get stuck in the unit, error U080 codes stop timer recordings and now, having got it back after 2 weeks in the workshop, can only get a black and white picture. I can''t recommend it.

I can''t understand why this product has only got 2 stars out of 5. It is probably one of the best things we have ever bought. It records to all formats, the best of which is by far DVD RAM. (Again i can''t understand why DVD RAM is always looked upon as a poor relation. You can do so much more with it including editing on the disc.) Transferring VHS tapes to DVD is a breeze with a one touch button. It also takes SD memory cards so there is no need to mess about with cables to plug your camera in. The picture and sound quality is as good as i have seen anywhere else. It is extremely user friendly (far more so than my last video which was an appalling JVC - the most unfriendly piece of kit i ever bought.) As far as i am concerned there is nothing to dislike about this unit except perhaps the time it takes to initially read a disc. This is highly recommended.
Pros:
Transferring from VHS tapes to DVD.
Cons:
Time to load and read a disc.
