Panasonic Dmr EX85EB-S Dvd Hdd Recorder

I am pleased with my recorder lots of the features are great and easy to use. The manual takes some sorting out. LAST MEMORY and VPS/PDC I thought all recorders had these features as the last one I had was a cheapo one and it had both. The LAST MEMORY remembered the last 20 DVD''s that had been watched. VPS/PDC (to start program when they start even if starting late) is greatly missed. Had I have done my research properly and realised these features where missing on a much more expensive recorder I doubt if I would have bought the Panasonic DMR-EX85EB

The lack of PDC (programme delivery control)is a mistake by Panasonic. I have missed the start of quite a few programmes because of this. It's not as if it's a new thing for them, Panasonic have included it in previous models. Had I known that it was lacking in the DMR-EX85EB, I would not have purchased this model but looked for one with a similar spec that had it included.
