I have just purchased this Freeview (DVB) with 160GB harddisk recorder, and although I had slight doubts as its at the cheap end of the market (Comet £119) I've found it to be very good. The interactive electronic programme guide (EPG) is along a simular lines as a SKY interactive box. The device also includes twin tuner which allows you to record one channel whilst watching the other. The recording mode does not allow you to change the quality of recording to allow more time (as on some other players) but giving you around 77 hours or recording (160GB Drive) I don't feel this is a problem. The build of the actual box is fine not top quality but it is still good, however the remote is a little on the cheap side, but functions very well. All in all I think this is very good vaule for money and I would recommend it to family and friends (never thought I''d say that about a Proline device).
Pros:
Very good vaule. EPG is good (simular to sky box). Picture in Picture feature. Excellent value for money. Pause live TV.
Cons:
Remote control build is a little poor.
