Why choose the RAZR V3i ...

Having started off with the first generation V3 phone, you get the distinct feeling of standing out in the crowd when talking to your mates on this phone. Then the bombshell hits you. Why isn't there enough memory to hold more than a couple of decent tunes, let alone the very restrictve amount of texts it stores. I couldn't get more than approx. 27. With the new enhanced versions of the V3 those issues have now been resolved. Depending on what you're after there's a model to suit mostly everyone for whatever purpose. If you're not into flip phones then forget the V3 range. The texting is typical Motorola and I've heard so many arguments that Nokia is better, but believe me, it's what you get used to. And the end result after having used both for many years is that the Motorola is far superior in texting, especially predictive text where it fills out the remander of the word for you. The camera, although not up to the 3.2 megapixels but is still good enough for a decent picture.
Pros:
Decent TFT screen and in speaker mode it's probably one the best on the market and the latest version of the software supplied with it is just a dream to use.
Cons:
I couldn't find anything poor about it, but if you really want good photographs, then either get one of the new 3+ megapixel phones or better still, get a small cheap digital camera which gives you far superior quality pictures than any phone will give you. No Radio, but hey, all the good points far outweigh the missing radio.

not enough songs

cool looking phone, perhaps the most impressive looking phone on the market. Major downside is the lack of space at only 100 songs on itunes, a greater capacity would have made this a real music phone. The phone is easy to use and loading the music is fairly quick. Good camera quality, ease of use and value for money better than average. Next model should allow at least 500 songs on itunes, now that would be a real music phone!
