Lg RH177 Dvd Hdd Recorder

This is a nice looking machine and fairly easy to use (though I am still not convinced we have set it up properly as I can only record from terrestrial and not the digibox), but my one disappointment is that it is quite noisy - I am aware of a whirring noise the whole time it is on, which I assume is the fan. Comet won't take opened products back so I am persevering with it, but it's a bit annoying. It depends how sensitive you are to extraneous noise - my son said he didn't hear it particularly, but my daughter noticed it immediately. Not ever having seen one of these machines in action before I don't know if other machines have a similar problem or if this is much noisier than others. Other than that I like it.
