i have just bought this recorder brand new for a great price of £59.99 half the original price,
i have hooked it up to my virgin cable box via scart and set av2 to decoder slapped a disc in and away it went no problems,recorded on sp mode and the quality was better than i was expecting,so i hooked up my camcorder to the front av''s(old sony video 8) and again very impressed with the quality of recording,i can now transfer all my home vids in very good quality,this recorder is as easy as using an old vhs recorder straight forward easy setup and easy to use,for the price tag im impressed,,i have also tested some of my divx and xvid avi discs in this recorder,and it plays them with no errors or sync problems at all,thumbs up for lg great recorder for the price of most players,

Pros:
ease of setup and use,recording quality,connections lots of them,multi media recording and play back,takes about 2mins from out of box to recording.
Cons:
remote is large and lots of buttons that u won''t really use,lack of digital freeview tuner,only analogue built in
