Beware of the manuals when setting this TV up. It is not obvious how you switch from Analogue to Digital , nor how you operate your attached DVD recorder (thru the input button. If on the Manual Timer you select Record (the default ) the chances you will record a blank screen . Just choose Remind (the record only works with an appropriate DVD) . You will also find that the Remind requires an answer from you to actually change channels. There is NO automatic override if the TV is on. Not great if you are out of the room at the time.
The people at LG who designed this Software have been incredibly silly in the design . They only need to include options to improve this 100%.
Get a NON technical writer to do a small add on Manual on how to use the TV.
I am having to replace my TV for faults within the DVD input screen , so am not overly impressed..
I bought the product on cost / other reviews. It is most probably value for money.
Pros:
Excellent picture in Freeview
The help/advice I have received from the people at LG.
Cons:
Software / manuals. Picture extremely poor in Analogue compared to previous TVs.
