i have been a professional photographer over 27yrs, this camera is ideal for portraits and general outdoor use. only small complaints being the lag on the shutter time and flash coverage for wide angle lens adaptor is poor. apart from that a perfect camera for travelling as light bodyweight and fairly compact for a 10Xzoom lens. to getthe most out off camera try long exposures with a tripod and timer.
