Kodak V705 Ultra Wide Angle Lens Digital Camera

My experience of this, and the earlier model V570, is that the wide angle exceeds anything else of this size allowing quick close ups of interiors and facades. .The wide angle is good too for quick handheld aerial photos and panoramas,where because of time or movement there is not the possibility of setting up a series of 2 or 3 scans to stitch together.I have also managed good interior shots of weddings parties etc due to its unobtrusiveness .The big screen lets you encompass all the shot you want without screwing your eye to an eyepiece,The image can be retrimmed on the spot or later. The ability to edit at the time means you can reject poor photos to save storage,and try another before the scene evaporates.It is a camera I can carry most of the time for those rare once off opportunities,and with the larger SD cards can hold images from a long holiday The video/audio faciliy unexpectedly let me catch a half hour at an outdoor party of wrinklies dancing to an excellent jazz group My ambition for the camera initially was to capture a particular scene of a windmill surrounded by a complete rainbow from horizon to horizon but it is not quite wide enough giving only about 80 degrees .However the next time I will be a little more patient and try the panorama stitch together of 2 or 3 shots.Having had my camera stolen I am willing to pay through the nose for another as they went out of production early 2007
