Kenwood KM310 Stand Mixer
User Reviews of the Kenwood KM310 Stand Mixer
We got this at Christmas time to replace our much loved model we had for over 20 years. There are currently 3 versions of the Chef available brand new but we got the 700 watt model. Being white in colour, a plastic clad metal machine is essentially the difference of the KM310 model and has 50 watts lower than the KM400. We got the usual attachments; dough hook, whisk, K beater and a stainless steel bowl which is dishwasher safe and perfect for pastry making. In use the Chef is still bulky, but still performs as the best kitchen mixer you can get; it is also lighter to carry now. Kitchenaid in comparison is heavy to lift, bulky and attachments in the UK are less than what you can get on the Chef. Importantly, the Chef comes with a liquidiser with ice crushing blades - handy for all types of smoothies.

Pros:
Good speeds with pulse addition; plastic lid cover over mixer head ensures nothing escapes out of the bowl when Chef is being used, also has a handy flip up side to add ingredients. Does what it says on the label!
Cons:
Still bulky but worthy of consideration. Dont bother with Kenwood's own attachment catalogue as its largely expensive. Consider other online companies as extra cost optional attachments are cheaper to purchase.
