Indesit IDL40 45CM Slim Line Dishwasher White

I bought this dishwasher as it was Indesit/Hotpoint manufacturer who, I believed at the time, made good products. For 14 months (3/4 times a week) it washed ''moderately'' well but then it stuck on the wash cycle on all programmes - not moving onto the rinse or dry stage. I rang Indesit who said it would cost either £149 to fix, this included a further years warranty or £89 plus parts for an engineer to look at it. I could buy a brand new unit on the internet for £160 so to pay these prices would be madness. I cannot believe this unit only lasted 14 months - my previous dishwasher (which was a different manufacturer) lasted 11 years. Please don''t waste your money.
