I bought one of these a few weeks ago and have had nothing but problems. The filter jams with pet hairs and cuts out the Hoover, and it takes ages to recover. I have to clean the filter twice every time I clean! The slider control no longer works; the pet hair attachment has cracked around the tube; the side cleaning wheel has never worked!; it doesn''t clean hard floors at all - all the bits shoot out the back!; and finally, the belt has just snapped after around 12 uses!! Also very heavy, poorly built and very unstable when you''re cleaning with the tools.

THIS HOOVER IS EFFICIENT IN SUCKING UP THE DUST BUT CLOGS UP CONTINUALLY WITH COMPACTED DIRT GOING BACK INTO THE HOSE INSTEAD OF FILLING THE ALREADY SMALL DUST CONTAINER. I HAVE TO CONTINUALLY PULL DIRT FROM THE HOSE CAUSING MORE STOUR. AFTER A FEW MINUTES HOOVERING THE BLOCKAGE CAUSES DUST TO BE BLOWN FROM THE HOOVER MAKING THE CARPET LOOK AS BAD AS EVER. I EXPECTED TO HAVE TO EMPTY THIS HOOVER REGULARLY BUT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND OBVIOUSLY A DESIGN FAULT.
I AM WAITING FOR THE HOOVER PEOPLE TO ARRIVE TO LOOK AT IT BUT THEY CANCELLED ONE APPOINTMENT AND HAVEN''''T YET TURNED UP FOR THE SECOND ALTHOUGH THEY HAD SAID THEY WOULD ARRIVE BETWEN 9AM AND 9.30AM.

LOOKS OK, PRICE OK, PROBABLY WOULD BE QUITE AN EFFICIENT HOOVER IF IT HAD THE CAPACITY TO DEAL WITH THE DIRT IT SUCKS UP.
