Hitachi 42PD6600 Plasma Tv

i had this tv 2 years ago and at the time it was pretty good, until you start finding some of the faults with it! one of which was i found that the tv was always burning images on the screen even when you turn the tv off you can still see them. My second fault with it which is prehaps the biggest is the arrangements of the sockets on the back of the television, in more precise detail the positioning of the pc input and my reasoning behind this is because i bought vga cable to hook it up with my laptop and you cant fit the vga in properly because of its position, i then went out and spent another £20 on one and asked for the smallest one i could get my hands on and that still did not fit very well into the tv!!!!

2 years ago when I bought mine for £1300 I was over the moon. 1 week ago when the secondary screen shattered of it''s own accord I was not so impressed. When you buy Hitachi you should be aware that if you get more than 1 second after the 12 month warranty then they are not interested . This T.V has a major safety problem! If I was upstairs instead of watching it this could have been a serious issue!

This is a great looking and great picture quality tv - everyone who comes into our home admires it and comments on the quality of the picture - added to this the HD facility of sky and you have some of the best pictures I have ever seen on a tv - our last tv was also hitachi and it finally gave up the ghost after 22 years loyal service!!! - hope this lasts as long.
