I let a friend talk me into purchasing this monitor last month by mail. Recently, it went off and refused to come back on till the middle of the night and we had to get up and turn it off. Last week it went off for good. Considering the cost of mailing it in with freight and insurance, and after reading the warranty restrictions and some of the other consumer stories, I placed mine in my trash bin and will be going to Best Buy today to purchase a monitor that can be easily returned for replacement if needed. No use tossing good money after bad. The company refused to refund my money, and I am not interested in another of these cheap monitors. Wish I''d just stuck with good brand purchased locally.
