Goodmans GTVL32W8 Lcd Tv 80CM
User Reviews of the Goodmans GTVL32W8 Lcd Tv 80CM
Regarding installation, this TV is very easy to set up, it boasts an understandable menu interface, making searching for channels easy and fine tuning image and audio properties.
At the back of the set, you will find every kind of socket that you will need for a long time, from VGA to firewire. Obviously this TV is high def, and the detail produced from the xbox 360 is superb.
Niggles... Only a few, firstly, make sure you have a stand or budget for one, this TV looks very unattractive sitting on the floor or on any unfit for purpose old table.
Secondly, the volume control is a bit too sensitive, when it is set to minimum, it is still too loud for minimum circumstances, so if it is going in a bedroom this could be a problem for couples. When you get over 1 3rd of the way up the volume 'bar' on the screen, the sound becomes distorted.
Finally, the plastics used are a tad 'hollow' or 'tacky', but for the price and manufacturer, you cant expect any better
Overall, a great TV
Pros:
Variety of available sockets
Price(I paid £499 including built in freeview tuner)
Cons:
Volume control
I have had the TV for a week and I am very impressed so far. Great picture and the HD from my XBox is spectacular. TV was V.Easy to set up and looks good from all angles. Loads of options and every type of input slot you will ever need. Alround a brilliant TV. Remote control is dissapointingly small and fiddly. Very small buttons. Sound is good without being spectacular. For £600(Argos)a BARGAIN.
