Dead Rising For Xbox 360
User Reviews of the Dead Rising for Xbox 360
I was looking forward to this game for so long having been shown some awesome screens of a man on top of a bus surrounded by zombies. Having now played this game i can tell you it is the most boring game ive ever played.
Throughout the game you hit 1 button, X. I hit this button about 900 times until i decided to stop playing. Although there is a nuber of different weapons at your disposal, all you do is hit x constantly, you get a second of excitement then move on to the next weapon. This game to me was very redundant.
Many people will disagree with me but hey this is an honest review from an honest gamer.
As part of it's new deal with Microsoft, Capcom studios has/is developed/developing two exclusive games for the XBox 360. One of those, the Sci Fi action game Lost Planet, comes out in January. But already knocking on our door, nay, breaking our door down to cause mayhem, is the Zombie slashing gorefest otherwise known as Dead Rising.
You play Frank West, a photographer who thinks he's seen it all. Until he drops into a Zombie infested mall and has to fight for the survival of himself and a handful of baseball bat and shotgun wielding locals. You have 72 hours and thousands of weapons at your disposal to make mincemeat of the undead. Among my favourites were: The lawnmower, potted plants, samurai swords, soccer balls, sledgehammers, and a particularly gruesome Scythe.
The gameplay is simple to learn and get into, but difficult to master. Near perfect. An absolute riot and a treat for any zombie fan.
