Delonghi Combi Steam BCO120 Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker

I got my machine for christmas, and i was so excited since i am a HUGE coffee fan (I''m only 14 too :P) and was amazed to see this one for £35 quid (Needless to say my dad got it). The first time i used the espresso pump i was sort of impressed... The problem was the coffee was kinda cold, which i couldn''t understand since it was steaming hot when it came from the carafe. Also, i used Illy beans, so i knew the quality, and the creama layer was very small and disappeared soon. A bit disappointing, but the coffee itself tastes good =] The milk frother does it''s job fine, although it is very awkward to use since theres no jug ot stand it is a flimsy nozzle that you need to hold a mug under, burn your hands, and have a mocha. Charming. Would have been better it there was space for something like a jug to enhance it... I wish i could leave it alone and watch videos but i have the stand up and burn my hands on a mug. Yay... But the end result is worth it, since with the cappuccino system you can have it hot as ya like, BUT the measurements for water for cappccino are WAY OFF. I put almost double in to get a successful cappuccino to get my fix. The filter coffee maker is nice. It makes an AWFUL noise though, sounds like the coffee maker is gargling... And it drips out fast though and tastes fine if you use the right beans. The filter is annoying to wash, and the coffee warmer gets way too hot. It doesn''t ''keep warm'', it ''heats coffee to a crisp''. I know i sound harsh, but the reality is harsh. £35 won''t get you an amazing coffee maker, but this one does the job, only it could to it better with tweaks. By Necromancer!

I have had my machine for a few years, the coffee is warm when it arrives, by the time you put milk in it is cold. unfortunately it has stopped working now, hardly been used
