Cda CI992 Washer Dryer

Having used this machine for three and a half years, I wouldn''t buy another. Performance is fairly basic but reliability is poor. The space between the drum and the casing is rather wide necessitating the use of a laundry net for small items to prevent them from disappearing inside the machine. Liquid tends to dribble down the front of the machine from the soap dispenser and the door seal does is not 100% leakproof either. The machine has been already been repaired twice and has now developed a third fault . This is a very disappointing product and one I would not recommend to others.

I agree with the comments regarding the soap dispenser. I contacted the supplier and was told that it was due to pressure from our temporary work surfaces. I now have properly fitted surfaces but it has made little difference. I am now having the problem that any dark clothes are coming out streaked with ? washing powder despite very little being used. Unfortunately i can find no helpline number to contact them on.

We have had a CI992 machine for two years. Funtionally it has worked O.K except for the soap dispenser. This is a poor design which does not take in the softener and leaks from underneath the dispenser at every use of the machine. We were given a second dispenser identical to the first. Tonight there was an horrendous noise during spin. Sounds like the motor rotating against a broken off item. Hope we get it under the two year warranty. All-in-all a very disapointing product.
